About:

As an educator during the pandemic, I witnessed firsthand how trauma impacts adolescents and their families. That experience led me to transition from teaching into counseling, where I could more directly support young people and their support systems through life’s challenges.

Approach:

I believe each person has a unique story and set of needs. Together, we will create a treatment plan tailored to your goals, drawing on skills from DBT and CBT. I also use systemic and trauma-informed approaches to include your support network, explore patterns, and help you write a brighter future.

Expertise:

My passion is supporting adolescents (ages 12–17) as they navigate life transitions and partnering with their caregivers to create an environment of growth and healing. My focus areas include:

  • Anxiety and depression
  • Self-esteem and identity development
  • Attachment and relationship skills

In addition to working with teens and families, I also work with adults who are experiencing anxiety or depression related to trauma.
