About
Hello, I'm Alicia Kuehl, a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern currently pursuing my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy through Abilene Christian University (online). I’m completing my internship at CLEAR Counseling under the supervision of Michele Mulcahy, MMFT, LMFT-S, where I have the opportunity to support individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. I believe in meeting clients where they are without judgment and with deep respect for their unique stories.
As Brené Brown says, “Empathy has no script… It’s simply listening, holding space, withholding judgment, emotionally connecting, and communicating that incredibly healing message of ‘You’re not alone.’” That message guides how I show up in the therapy room. I've always had a strong intuition when it comes to the emotions of others. This ability has naturally grown into a passion for helping people heal, grow, and reconnect.
I work with clients to promote self-awareness, strengthen communication, process past experiences, and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships. Originally from Arizona, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Arizona State University. Outside of therapy, I love spending time with my family, volunteering in my community, and exploring new places whenever possible. Whether you are navigating a major life change, struggling in a relationship, or simply feeling stuck, I am here to walk alongside you. Together, we can create a path forward that feels supportive, empowering, and uniquely yours.
